brief: create visual communication from a BBC podcast 'short stories'.
The podcast I chose was 'Moonlight’, consisting of a man who talks about his experience with astral projection and it being an uncomfortable and dark experience for him. He wanted to be able to achieve astral projection again, but instead enjoy the magical spiritual journey of it. so I created a guide for people who want to perform astral projection and for it to be controlled and safe for them.
I have used visual communication to create a step-by-step guide on how to complete an out-of-body experience safely, with social media posts. the chosen font for the titles is Nimayo, it's bold fluidity shows movement and looks like it's floating, with a shadow behind it that represents consciousness shifting from the physical body. the context font is Galeum Blur Demo, its feels eerie with it being blurry and uneven however, mixed with the bright colours is meant to feel like a friendly aura.
there are a range of bright colours as they convey the spiritual visual of the PRACTICE of astral projection. these colours also represent the varity of different auras there are in the spiritual realm.
how the Instagram posts are presented.
the context is from the guide OBE in 3 steps, written by an astral projection teacher, Jade Shaw.
